With over 30 years of experience in the IT landscape, Walter Demichiel embodies the rare combination of profound technical understanding and strategic management competence. His professional career ranges from hands-on system integration to leading complex architectural domains in regulated and public environments.
Current Expertise & Focus
In his current role as Enterprise Architect at the Security Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, he is responsible for the entire spectrum of architectural domains. He leads and establishes architecture management, significantly advances process management and data governance, and ensures the architectural compliance of critical projects. As a key liaison in strategic committees, he contributes his expertise to bridge the gap between complex requirements and pragmatic, implementable solutions.
